More than seventeen hundred students have registered to sit the Caribbean Primary Exit Assessment (CPEA) exams which began on Thursday (April 12).

Primary school students gathered across examination centers throughout Saint Vincent and the Grenadines to write the final exams which are administered by the Caribbean Examinations Council – CXC.

The students sat these exams after years of classroom based assessments. Those assessments done over the years will contribute to the students’ final CPEA scores.

The CPEA replaced the single exam Common Entrance Exam in 2014 in Saint Vincent and the Grenadines.
