Multiple customers of the Bank of St. Vincent and the Grenadines are reporting that they have seen a sum of $700 in a checking account this morning.
The account appears as a new account on the banks’ mobile online banking app, and not an account the customers signed up for.
Up to press time, the Bank had not released a statement about the issue, and efforts to reach the bank have been futile.
The development is likely to be a glitch and some persons on social media have urged their fellow BOSVG account holders not to try to transfer or withdraw the money.
