The family of the late Roderick Bernard Lewis has asked One News SVG to share the following funeral arrangements with the public.

Roderick Bernard Lewis, 55, of Clifton, Union Island, died in Belgium on 18 August 2026. He was loved by many and will be fondly remembered by family, friends and the wider Union Island community.

The public is asked to note that his memorial service will be held on Friday, 11 September 2026, at 12:00 noon at the Clifton Playing Field, Union Island. Interment will follow at the Clifton Cemetery.

Roderick leaves to mourn his beloved common-law wife, Bultot Fabienne of Belgium; his daughter, Ashanka Lewis of the Turks and Caicos Islands; and his five grandchildren, Kimia Howe, Tahalie Debique, Kaavia Debique, Gabriel Browne, and Kentis Debique.

He also leaves to mourn his sisters, Jacqueline Lewis of the United Kingdom, Marslyn Lewis of Bequia, Genevieve Lewis, Yvonne Franklyn, Moricia Bowens, Angella, and Beans of mainland St. Vincent; his brothers, James Lewis of Trinidad, Jimmy Lewis, Jerome Lewis, Calton Franklyn, and Nick; his uncles, Wendell Lewis, Matthias Lewis, and Earlice George; and his aunts, Lillian George and Marilyn Phillips of Trinidad.

He will be deeply missed by his nieces, Jaquell Best, Shermel, Rihanna Stapleton, Ariel Lewis, Semone Lewis, Antoinette Lewis, Larsonia Lewis, Isabella Lewis, Azaylee Lewis, Jamie Lewis, and Gabriel Lewis; his nephews, Jayden Stapleton, Reece Stapleton, Antoine Lewis, Garvey Best of the United Kingdom, James Jr. Monix, Noel Adams of Union Island, and Aiden Jackson of mainland St. Vincent.

He will also be sadly missed by many other relatives and friends, including Bradley Lewis, Daniel Providence, Lerene, Antonette Frederick, Atila Adams of Union Island, and Loic, Elora, Suzanne, Jean Marie, Mama Sofie, Oliver, and Mark of Belgium, along with many other relatives and friends.
