19-year-old Sandy Bay resident wins Miss Windward Pageant 2023

Veronique Thomas, 19, of Sandy Bay has won the 2023 Miss Windward Pageant crown.

In the hotly contested show held last night (July 14) at the Chili Playing Field at Georgetown, Thomas outperformed four other competitors to win the crown.

According to the organizers, Ms. Thomas won Best Swimwear, Best Evening Wear, and won the People’s Choice award.

She is a former Miss Garifuna Princess.

Her sponsor was House of Ellis.

The first runner up position went to Ms. Beyonce Quashie – Miss Georgetown. Ms. Quashie won Best Interview.

The Second Runner Up position was taken by Ms. Janiesha Cupid- Miss San Souci. Ms. Cupid won Best Talent.

The other two contestants were Ms. Zada Barker and Ms. Donnesia Yearwood.
