Vincentian Jai-Len Williams has received one of the most prestigious scholarships in the US, a Fullbright LASPAU Scholarship.
The announcement was made today by the United States of America Embassy for Barbados and the Organization of Eastern Caribbean States – OECS in Bridgetown, Barbados.
Williams, a scholar, is also legal officer at the Financial Intelligence Unit.
She will be undertaking studies at Fordham University in New York, where she will be pursuing a Master of Laws degree (LLM).
She has already arrived in the USA.
The Fulbright program is the flagship international educational exchange program sponsored by the U.S. government, and is designed to increase mutual understanding between the people of the United States and the people of other countries.
