Fireman receives another car from CDC as part of 2023 Soca Monarch winnings

The key to a new licensed and insured 2015 Suzuki Swift was handed over today (September 5) to Mrs. Jean Johnny Findley on behalf 2023 Soca Monarch Winner – Mr. Delroy Fireman Hooper.

Mr. Hooper is currently overseas.

The car was given by the Carnival Development Corporation – CDC as a prize for the winner of the 2023 Soca Monarch competition.

The handing-over event took place at Victoria Park.

According to the Carnival Development Corporation- CDC, the car is worth XCD $43,000.

It is in addition to the XCD $23,000 Mr. Hooper recently collected from the CDC for winning the Soca Monarch Competition.

This is not the first time the 12-Time Soca Monarch winner has received a vehicle as a prize from the CDC.

The CDC held its 2023 Prize-Giving Ceremony for winners of judged categories of Vincy Mas 2023.

Many winners collected cash prizes while others received trophies and other prizes.
