Chapmans Bridge Closure

The Ministry of Transport, Works, Lands and Physical Planning will begin reconstruction of the Chapmans bridge.

According to a press release, October 10th, the Ministry of Transport said the Chapmans Bridge will be closed to vehicular traffic effective Friday 13th October 2023, to facilitate the reconstruction of the bridge.

The public will be required to use the alternative route through Lowmans Windward/Greiggs. Pedestrian access will be maintained via a temporary footbridge, stated the press release.

The Ministry of Transport is seeking the co-operation of the public during the execution of this project said they regrets any inconvenience caused.
