Here is the One News SVG list of the nine (9) new places to visit for 2023:
1. Montreal Gardens

Located in the Montreal area of the lush Marriaqua Valley, this Garden of Eden is well endowed with beauty enhanced by the Grand Bonhomme mountain, part of the central mountain range that runs vertically through mainland St. Vincent. The garden is worth visiting.

The multilayered garden provides two unique lookout points, exotic flora, a tunnel, rest points, and access to a river in a peaceful and unspoiled environment that puts you at one with nature. There is also a Celtic sign of life that is worth learning about.
Plan a picnic, a tour, or a peaceful one-on-one with nature. You will likely fall in love.
2. Frigate Bay, Union Island – The Grenadines

Located in a marine biodiversity powerhouse, this over-the-sea bridge gives access to persons who wish to take a scenic walk over the sea and experience some of the most beautiful views in the southern Grenadines.
Additionally, it gives access to a key mangrove swamp where you can witness firsthand, the workings of marine biodiversity.
3. Glossy Bay Marina, Canouan – The Grenadines

Opened in 2017, the $250 million, 120-berth marina is not only for the 24 super-yacht berths and other yacht accommodations. Visitors can enter via land and enjoy top-quality restaurant and bar services as well as some shopping services.
4. Chatham Bay Lookout, Union Island

This view is immaculate, especially at sunset. There is also a lot of conservation work happening in the forested area where the Union Island Geico, a unique lizard is being protected.
Apart from the views and the conservation work, visitors can head down to the beach and enjoy a drink at one of the many bars or stop by a nearby hotel to enjoy the top-notch services.
5. Salt Whistle Bay, Mayreau

This is thought to be one of the best beaches in the Caribbean. The beach is a favorite spot for yachts, sea bathers, snorkelers, and kitesurfers.
What visitors get is really two beaches in one place where a thin stretch of land separates the calm Caribbean Sea side from the rough Atlantic Side.
6. La Soufrière Volcano, St. Vincent

Since its last eruption in April 2021, extensive work has been done to restore the trail on the Windward side.
Visiting now will give hikers a front row to see biodiversity being naturally restored. Hikers will also be able to see the remnants of nature’s explosive show and how it has shaped or reshaped land.
The resurgence of flora on the mountain and the spectacular views at the top of the mountain make the hike worthwhile.

If one has the courage to hike down into the crater and back, then that’s an experience in itself.
If you dare to take up the challenge, you will be entering the arena of the brave, elite minority who have conquered their fears and looked death right in its eyes: a true daredevil experience.

If you do, you will never look at fear the same way again. You will be braver in life.
7. Thirteen (13) Stones, North Leeward – St. Vincent

These mysterious rock carvings, located at North Leeward, St. Vincent depict the faces of several animals, including Baboons. It is believed that their creators are persons from among the earliest settlers on St. Vincent, the Ciboney people. A visit here is definitely worth the experience.
Representatives from the Richmond Vale Nature and Hiking Center should be able to take you to 13 stones site.
