The East Caribbean Group of Companies – ECGC has released a statement on the incident where a man fell on their premises and later died at the hospital.
In a Statement to Media, ECGC said that “on November 21, an accident occurred where a worker employed to the construction firm working on our new flour mill building, fell at the site and
subsequently died at the hospital”.
The incident happened at ECGC’s headquarters at Campden Park.
“We are deeply saddened by this, and our focus currently is providing emotional support for the family affected and our teams,” the ECGC statement added.
At ECGC we are fully committed to workplace safety for everyone, the statement added.
ECGC said: “A fully independent investigation is being conducted”.
UPDATED: The deceased, whose full name is Corwin Franklyn was a popular bus conductor by the name Kerwin in the Campden Park area.
