The Rotaract Club of Kingstown says it gearing up for its Annual Charity Drive -the ‘One Wish’ Christmas project.
In a press release, the club said that “In the true spirit of Christmas” it is “inviting everyone to join hands in spreading joy and making a difference in the lives of those less fortunate”.

The club said that from the 9th of December to the 17th of December 2023, it will be “actively collecting both food and monetary contributions from the generous public with the primary objective of extending a helping hand to families in need during the month of January, ensuring that the warmth of the holiday season is felt by all”.
“The selected families are carefully chosen from the Welfare Department’s list of low or no-income households, ensuring that the support reaches those who need it the most,” the club said.

“The Rotaract Club of Kingstown emphasizes that every bit of support makes a significant impact on the lives of these families, and they are counting on all of us to rally together in the spirit of giving,” the club added.

To facilitate convenient contributions, the club has set up collection points at C.K Greaves and Massy Stores Arnos Vale.
The donation schedule is as follows:
• Saturday 9th and 16th from 9:00 AM – 8:00 PM
• Monday 11th December – Friday 15th December from 5:00 – 8:00 PM
