Lionel Richie leaves SVG with one word

Legendary music star – Lionel Richie left St. Vincent and the Grenadines (SVG) today (February 23), after a six-day stay.

He spoke to the Customer Service Officer of the Argyle International Airport (AIA) – Ms. Arlette Miller, and he described the country in one word: “beautiful”.

Ms. Miller presented the legendary musician with a copy of the Ins and Outs magazine which promotes St. Vincent and the Grenadines by featuring people, places of interest, food, festivals, and accommodations.

Lionel Richie visited the country from Saturday, February 17 to Friday, February 23, 2024.

His visit was private, but One News SVG can confirm that he spent time enjoying the sailing waters of the Grenadines which are among the most beautiful in the world.

Britannica describes Richie as American popular singer, songwriter, and producer most admired for his smooth and soulful love ballads of the 1970s and ’80s.

“It’s one of his signature songs for a reason, and a list of the best Richie songs would be remiss without “Hello,” the website says.

Other popular songs include “Endless Love” featuring Diana Ross, “Three Times a Lady”, “All Night Long,” and “Say You, Say Me”.

Lionel Richie has a net worth of $200 million.
