The Royal, St. Vincent, and the Grenadines Police Force (RSVGPF) announced today (March 12) that it has received new vehicles and motorcycles which will enhance its service to the public.

In a statement on its Facebook page, the RSVGPF said: “The Government of St. Vincent and the Grenadines continues to make significant investment” in citizens’ safety and security.

“Accordingly, five (5) new vehicles and ten (10) new motorcyles have been procurred and added to the RSVGPF’S fleet of vehicles,” the RSVGPF said in the statement.

The RSV,GPF said: “These new assets will help to improve the Police Force’s response time to incidents and other reports. They will also help to bolster Police Officers ability to have more and sustained patrols in the various communities across SVG”.

“The Commissioner of Police (Ag), Mr. Enville Williams thanks the government for its tangible investment in the RSVGPF,” the release said.

In recent times, and across several police districts, some citizens have complained about the timeliness of the police’s response to complaints where the police often cite unavailability of transportation as the reason for delayed responses to complaints.
