Imagine working in a foreign country and losing your passport, your wallet with your Identification cards, your teaching materials, and other valuables.
That is exactly what Psychiatrist – Dr. Neha Singla, an Indian national and resident of SVG is going through right now.
In a March 17 email sent to One News SVG and other media houses, Dr. Singla said that on the night of March 1, there was a burglary at her Ratho Mill residence.

“Among the stolen items, included were my passport, wallet with my IDs, along with a laptop (MacAir 2020) and a hard disk with important data pertaining to my lecture notes and teaching materials along with other items,” Dr. Singla said.
“I have lodged a complaint at Calliaqua Police Station and also at the Police Headquarters,” Dr. Singla said.
The psychiatrist said she is offering a reward of one thousand dollars to any person able to return the above items or provide credible information assisting in the return of the above items.

Despite the losses, the psychiatrist said she does not wish to press charges; she only wants the items returned.
“I wish to clarify in the message that I don’t wish to press any charges but only request a return of the items that are essential for me,” she told the media in the email.

The medical doctor said she can be contacted at 1 784 528-6290.
