It was Vybz Kartel who sang the song “One Woman Can’t Satisfy Me,” and that is what a 52-year-old Vincentian man has denied being the case after he was charged with marrying two women.
In a March 27th press release, the Royal St. Vincent and the Grenadines Police Force (RSVGPF) said they arrested and charged Collins James, a 52 years unemployed of Diamond on March 26 for the offence of Bigamy.

Bigamy is the act of the offence of marrying someone while already married to another person.
“According to the investigations, the accused allegedly did an act that is more than merely preparatory to the commission of the offence by arranging a wedding ceremony between himself, and a 50-year-old Nurse of Glen/ New York. The offence was committed on 07.02.24 at 12:50 pm in Glen,” police said in the release.

Police said James appeared at the Kingstown Magistrate Court on 27.03.24 where he pleaded not guilty to the charge. He was granted bail in the sum of $3000.00ECC, with one (1) surety and no contact to the complainant. He was further ordered to report at the Stubbs Police Station every Monday between 8:00am to 8:00pm.
The matter was adjourned and transferred to the Calliaqua Police Station on April 02, 2024.
