Police say a March 26 post-mortem examination conducted on the body of 17-year-old Kemiesha Haynes shows her cause of death is strangulation.
On March 24, the deceased body of Kemiesha Haynes, a 17 years old Dosmestic worker of was discovered by a resident in an area known as “Whym Road” in Belmont, Marriaqua, police said in a March 27 press release.

Police said the body was discovered at approximately 7:00 am by a resident who later informed the Police.
The Royal St. Vincent and the Grenadines Police Force said they are following several leads to ascertain the facts and circumstances surrounding the incident.

Police said anyone with information that can assist with the investigation of this and other crimes is encouraged to contact the Criminal Investigations Department, Calliaqua at 1-784-458-4200 or call 999/911. All calls will be treated confidentially. The investigation is ongoing.
