After attracting thousands of Vincentians and visitors over the Christmas season, the National Parks Rivers and Beaches Authority (NPRBA) is hosting a major family event for Easter 2024.
Officer in charge of Public Relations – Ms. Twanique Barrow told One News SVG on March 29 that an Easter Egg Hunt will be held at the Garden on Saturday, March 30, 2024 from 11:00 a.m.
“During the Easter Season, most of the events are catered for adults, so the NPRBA’s goal is to hold an annual Easter event that provides excitement, enjoyment and entertainment for entire family in one location, while celebrating the spirit of Easter,” Ms. Barrow said.
She said: “We are having the Easter Egg Hunt for children aged 1-14, beginning at 12:30 p.m. for ages 1-5, and 1:00 p.m. for ages 6-14.

“Alongside the egg hunt, there will be various family activities like sack races, egg and spoon races, and the classic 3-legged race. For the first time, we’ll also have an eating competition. Other attractions include face painting, horseback riding, bouncing castles, thrilling slides, and plenty of food and drinks. And don’t miss the special appearance by the Easter Bunny,” she added.
She said the admission fee has been kept affordable to meet the needs of customers.

“Admission is $5.00 for children, $10.00 for adults, with a special Bunny Package available for $20.00, including a basket for the egg hunt and entrance fee. Patrons can get the Bunny Package at the Garden’s entrance,” she said.
Ms. Barrow also highlighted the successes of the Nine Nights of Lights held at the Botanical Gardens in December 2023.
“The Nine Nights of Lights 2023 event was a resounding success, and as always, I want to take this opportunity to express my gratitude to our patrons, sponsors, and of course our hardworking team that made it all possible,” she said.
She said: “A specially invitation is extending to you to join us at the St. Vincent Botanical Garden for the largest Family Easter Egg Hunt event in SVG! It’s guaranteed to be an unforgettable experience filled with fun and excitement. Like Nine Nights of Lights, there’s something for everyone. Bring your family and friends and come down to the Botanical Garden!”
