The Royal Saint Vincent and the Grenadines Police Force (RSVGPF) said Tuesday it has made a significant development in its investigations surrounding the discovery of partially burnt bodies at Park Hill on April 8.
In an April 9 press release, police said three individuals from South Rivers have been apprehended and are currently assisting with the investigation.

“This progress underscores the Force’s resolve in uncovering the truth behind this tragic incident,” police said.
The two partially burned bodies were discovered in the Park Hill area, near the Park Hill Playing Field, on April 8, 2024, at around 12:24 PM.
The deceased have been identified as Marvin Barker and Calvert “Vert” Smart, with identification confirmed by their respective family members.

In the press release, the RSVGPF Said: “We continue to appeal to the public for any information that may further assist in our investigation. Should you have any relevant details, please do not hesitate to contact Police Emergency at 999/911, the Criminal Investigations Department at 784-456-1810, the Georgetown Police Station at 784-458-6229 or the Colonarie Police Station 784-458-6250. All information received will be treated with the highest level of confidentiality”.
