Mr. Andrew Williams, a local Dental Therapist from Fair Hall has won the XCD $240,000 Super 6 Jackpot.
XCD $1 is equal to approximately USD $0.37 cents which means his winnings will be approximately USD 88, 805.02.
He was announced as the winner of the jackpot at a ceremony today (May 7) held at the National Lotteries Authority where he received his cheque.
The draw was held on April 16, 2024, and it was Super 6 draw number 2366.
The winning numbers were 05 – 06 – 10 – 20 – 22 – 23 and the free ticket letter was L.
He also won four numbers on a separate ticket.
Speaking at the ceremony, Mr. Williams said the winnings come at an opportune time when. They are very much needed.
He said the winnings will be used to help complete some projects he is currently undertaking.
Meanwhile, General Manager of The National Lotteries Authority (NLA), McGregor Sealey advised Mr. Williams to spend the money wisely.
According to Saint Lucia National Lottery, Super 6 is a multi-island lotto game where players from all 4 islands (Dominica, St. Lucia, Grenada, and St. Vincent and the Grenadines) participate.
The Super 6 game involves allowing members of the public to select six (6) numbers from the range of 01 to 28 and play those numbers for a three-dollar ($3) bet amount for the current draw, Saint Lucia National Lottery said.
