One News SVG can confirm that there was a robbery at the Barrouallie Branch of the Teachers Cooperative Credit Union.
The robbery took place today (May 10) during operational hours.
Gunmen stormed the premises, and made off with an undisclosed sum of cash according to the reports. (Updated)
After robbing the credit union, the gunmen entered their getaway vehicle which was parked outside the building, and sped off, according to reports.
People were in the area on the streets at the time of the incident.
There are no reports of injuries to any employees.
