Graduations are special events that most people cherish, and having memorabilia is an important part of the experience.
A new business called Ballon Gifts Decor is trying to help people make their graduations and other events more memorable by providing custom-made balloon decor.
The business is operated by Dhalia Browne. In an interview, Browne told One News SVG that she started the business because she always wanted to become an entrepreneur.
She said she focuses on providing decor for different types of events, but graduations are special since her designs can encourage children to aim higher and achieve greatness.
Ms. Browne who has been designing since 2018 said the feedback she has been receiving so far has been good.
“It’s been reasonably good so far. The reactions to the balloon decor have made me feel inspired to do more,” she said.
She said she has made balloon decor for several schools and individuals giving the graduation ceremonies a fresh new feel and an appropriate mood to match the theme or the feel required by the clients.
Browne said she also produces balloon decor on customers’ requests for birthdays, Valentine’s, Mother’s Day, Father’s Day, Independence Day, and Christmas celebrations.
Some challenges she has faced so far include some customers asking for delivery and getting orders in the country on time.
She said her motivation comes from her belief in God and the saying, “I can do all things through Christ and fear no one but God”.
