The Beauty Shows Committee (BSC) of the Carnival
Development Corporation will host the Unveiling ceremony of the seven (7) contestants in this
year’s Miss SVG pageant on Saturday, June 15, 2024 at 8:00 p.m. at the La Vue Boutique Hotel.
In a press release, the Committee said the ceremony will also see the major announcement of the pageant’s first title sponsor.
The pageant, which carries the theme, “A Royal Dream”, will be held on October 5, 2024.
Chairperson of the Beauty Shows Committee, Aviar Charles said in the third year of her
committee managing the pageant they have seen significant interest, not only from prospective
contestants, but also, corporate Saint Vincent and the Grenadines, the press release stated.
“Charles expressed that this year; the committee has been able to accomplish some major feats and has built partnerships, which will be announced on the night of the Unveiling. She also stated that they are excited about the significant progress and enthusiasm the contestants have shown,” the press release stated.
The committee said: “Furthermore, for the first time since its inception, the Unveiling will be a ticketed event. Pageant lovers can attend by purchasing a ticket/royal pass for $60.00 from the Entice Lounge at Victoria Park. The event, which is food inclusive, will also provide patrons with an opportunity to meet the contestants and secure an exclusive Miss SVG 2024 memorabilia”.
“The ceremony will be hosted by Miss SVG 2022, Jada Ross, and will see speeches from the
Honourable Carlos James; Minister of Tourism, Civil Aviation, Sustainable Development and
Culture, Mr. Ricardo Adams; Chairman of the Carnival Development Committee, Ms. Aviar
Charles; Chairperson of the Beauty Shows Committee and Miss Arena Foy, Miss SVG 2023,” the release further stated.
