On Friday, August 2, 2024, the St.Vincent Brewery Limited Celebrates International Beer Day. It was first celebrated in the United States in 2007 to recognize the contribution of beer to the beverage industry, it has become an annual worldwide event to also acknowledge the efforts of people who brew and serve beer. According to a press release that was sent today, International Beer Day is celebrated across 6 continents, 60 countries, and 210 cities. The 2024 theme celebrates the culture of beer and the significant role it plays in bringing communities together.
“International Beer Day is more than just an occasion to enjoy a cold beer” said Ms.
Monique Bailey, Brewer and Quality Manager at the St. Vincent Brewery Limited, “it’s a
celebration of the cultural and historical significance of beer, a beverage that has been
enjoyed for thousands of years world-wide. She further stated that “This day allows us to recognize the passion we
have for brewing, producing, bottling and selling our beer, while we connect with our
colleagues, friends and communities through a shared appreciation of beer”.

In celebration, the company has planned several employee activities on plant but in
observance of the 2024 theme, they are also bringing some excitement to the community as well. Confident in their belief that beer tastes better when it is bought by a friend, the
“Friends” at St. Vincent Brewery are inviting members of the public to visit select locations
across St. Vincent and the Grenadines, and “Have a Hairoun Beer on US!”.
Members of the public are invited to visit the Hairoun social media pages for more
information on the St. Vincent Brewery Limited International Beer Day celebrations.
