BREAKING: Dates for reopening of several secondary schools announced

The Ministry of Education has released the dates when secondary schools and technical institutes across the country will reopen.

Some schools were affected by the passage of Hurricane Beryl on July 1, with some needing repairs while others were used as emergency shelters and housed Hurricane evacuees.

Here are the dates for the opening of the 27 secondary schools across the country and the five (5) technical institutes.

All secondary schools will open on September 2 except for the Adelphi Secondary, Canouan Secondary, Dr. JP Eustace Memorial Secondary, Georgetown Secondary School, Petit Bordel Secondary School , St. Joseph’s Convent Kingstown, Troumaca Secondary School, and the Union Island Secondary School which open on Monday, September 9.

Also, the Bishop’s College Kingstown which lost its roof due to Hurricane Beryl will open on September 16.
