Police investigate as body found on Questelles Beach

Police say they are currently investigating the circumstances surrounding the death of an adult male found on Questelles Beach earlier today August 29, 2024.

In a press release, the Royal St. Vincent and the Grenadines Police Force (RSVGPF) said they ā€œwere alerted by an anonymous report of the discovery of a male body on the beach. Upon further investigation, the deceased was identified as Michael Dallaway, a 40-year-old resident of Questelles who was known to have a mental health conditionā€.

ā€œThe District Medical Officer (DMO) attended the scene and pronounced Dallaway deceased. A post-mortem examination will be conducted to determine the exact cause of death,ā€ police said.

The investigation is ongoing, and police are urging anyone with relevant information to contact Police Emergency at 999/911, Police Control at 784 457-1211, the Criminal Investigations Department / Major Crimes Unit: at 784 456-1810, or the Questelles Police Station at 784 456-1750.
