Here’s how to support this mother who wants to give her son a kidney

It was Canadian Singer – Celine Dion who said, “There is no other love like a mother’s love for her child,” and it is that type of love that has propelled Roselle King to donate one of her kidneys to her son.

Her son – Rodney King has been on dialysis for the last 4 years and is preparing to go to Trinidad and Tobago to do a kidney transplant.

“He will be receiving a kidney from his mother for a chance at a somewhat normal life. Anything you can donate will be greatly appreciated,” a GoFundMe set up on his behalf says.

His mother told One News SVG on Thursday that they are trying to raise 20,000 to facilitate the process.

She said she is a bit overwhelmed about the whole situation, but she is doing what it takes to give her only child new hope for a better life.
