Vincy Mas 2024 Winners to Receive Prize Monies on September 18

The Carnival Development Corporation said it will be hosting its annual Prize Giving Ceremony on Wednesday, September 18that the Victoria Park, commencing at 5:00 pm.

Inna September 12 press release, the CDC said the ceremony would hear addresses from the Hon. Carlos James – Minister of Tourism, Civil Aviation, Sustainable Development, and Culture, CDC Officials,and sponsors. Also included would be the distribution of Trophies and Prize Monies won at the various competitions.

Some of the components of Vincymas – the name of St. Vincent and the Grenadines National Carnival include music, mas, and pan.

The Hurricane Beryl-affected Vincy Mas held from June 28 to July 9.

The CDC, a statutory body that manages Carnival-related activities in St. Vincent and the Grenadines said an invitation is extended to all members of the components of Carnival and all other stakeholders involved.
