MoneyGram Services Still down in SVG

Vincentians wishing to use MoneyGram services are still unable to do so after the service was reported to be down yesterday (September 20).

Today, the SVG Postal Corporation reported that the money transfer service is currently unavailable at the Kingstown Post Office and all of the district outlets.

“We sincerely apologize for the obvious inconvenience caused and will inform you as soon as the service is restored,” the SVG Postal Corporation said. 

Massy Stores also confirmed that the MoneyGram service is also currently not available at their locations. 

Going Places Travel, one of the Money Gram agents here posted a notice concerning St. Vincent, St. Lucia, and Barbados on their official Facebook page yesterday (September 20). The notice said:“Please note that MoneyGram is temporarily out of service. Currently, we are unable to advise on when MoneyGram systems will be up again as these issues are beyond our control”.

“Stay tuned to our social channels for updates as we await service restoration,” the notice added.

At 12:42 p.m., Atlantic Standard Time, MoneyGram’s main website was down. The lone message on the site read: “We’re busy updating the website. Please check back soon.”
