After a relatively incident-free Christmas season, Vincentians are waking up to the news of another homicide for 2024.
During the early hours of December 28, police confirmed that an unidentified body was discovered in a vehicle that was partially over an embankment in the West St. George community of Kelbourney.
The body appears to have gunshot injuries.
This incident marks the country’s 54th homicide for 2024, just one less than the record-breaking 55 homicides recorded last year.
The circumstances surrounding the discovery and the incident remain unclear.
