While Virgin Atlantic has been flying to St. Vincent since October 2021, a ship from its sister company Virgin Voyages will sail to the destination for the first time on Sunday, January 19, 2025.
The SVG Tourism Authority (SVGTA) announced that the inaugural call of Virgin Voyages’ Resilient Lady, will take place on Sunday, January 19th, 2025, at 10:30 AM at the Kingstown Cruise Ship Berth.
The SVGTA said the event will feature a plaque exchange ceremony and brief remarks from the Minister of Tourism, the Port Authority, representatives from the vessel, and their agents.
Resilient Lady is an adult-only ship.
It was built in 2022 and boasts a capacity of 2,770 passengers along with a crew of 1,160. The ship measures 909 feet in length and has a beam of 135 feet. It has a gross tonnage of 60,000 and features an impressive layout with 17 decks that include 1,303 outside cabins and 105 inside cabins, the company’s website states.

The vessel is one out of the 377 scheduled port calls for this year. It is also one of nine inaugural calls scheduled for SVG this year.
