Police Issue Alert as 12-Year-Old Byera Student is Missing  

UPDATE: The child has been found.

The Royal St. Vincent and the Grenadines Police Force (RSVGPF) said it is pleased to inform the public that Miss Mikalia Williams has been found safe.

“We extend our heartfelt gratitude to the public for their vigilance, cooperation, and support in assisting with this matter. Your willingness to share information and work alongside law enforcement played a vital role in ensuring a positive outcome. Thank you for your support,” police said. The Royal St. Vincent and the Grenadines Police Force (RSVGPF) said Wednesday it is seeking the public’s assistance in locating Miss Mikalia Williams, a 12-year-old student of Byera.

“If you have seen Miss Mikalia Williams have any information on her whereabouts, please contact: Police Emergency: 911 / 999, Eastern Division (CID): 1-784-458-6229, or speak with any nearby police station or officer you are comfortable with,” police said in the Alert. 

Police said Ms. Williams was last seen On 20th January 2025 at 4:00pm. Her dress code is unknown. 

“She is 5 feet, three inches tall, brown in complexion, simply built, has a round face, has braided hair, and a mole on the left side of her face” the police description states. 

The RSVGPF said: “All information provided will be treated with strict confidentiality”. 

“Let’s work together to bring Mikalia home safely. Thank you for your cooperation and support,” the release added.
