Locals and visitors seeking to hike the La Soufriere Volcano Windward Trail will now have to pay a fee.
The National Parks Authority stated that the Trail User Fee will become effective on 1st February, 2025.
Local and Caribbean visitors will pay EC $5.00 while international visitors will pay US $5.00.
Payments can be made at The National Parks Authority Office, Jaycees Building, Stoney Grounds and Black Point Heritage and Recreational Park Site.

The National Parks, Rivers and Beaches Authority (NPRBA) said they sincerely appreciate your continued support of the La Soufriere Windward Trail and look forward to your cooperation in ensuring the sustainable management of this treasured natural resource.
This means the La Soufrière Windward Trail joins other sites where a facility fee is required.
The other sites include the Dark View Falls, Botanical Gardens, Owia Salt Pond, Black Point Recreational Park, among others.
