The St. Vincent Brewery Ltd. (SVBL), today announced its launch of the Vita Malt Youth Athletic Achievement Award.
A statement released by St. Vincent Brewery Ltd (SVBL) explains that the initiative is to celebrate and support the nation’s young athletes which is a step forward in their commitment to foster excellence in sports and uplift the Vincentian community.
“The Vita Malt Youth Athletic Achievement Award will recognize five exceptional student-athletes from randomly selected schools, providing them with vital support to acquire essential sports gear. Schools are encouraged to submit the name of their top student-athlete following their sports events, and award recipients will be honored during special school assemblies, where SVBL will present the awards in person,” the statement explained.
Kimon Baptiste PR and media Analyst at the Brewery stated that “over the years, St. Vincent Brewery Ltd. has proudly supported school sports under the Vita Malt brand, contributing significantly to the development of young athletes. This year, in addition to our product sponsorship to schools across the nation, we wanted to take this commitment a step further by assisting individual students. We’ve noticed that some young athletes face challenges in accessing the proper equipment needed to perform at their best. Through the Vita Malt Youth Athletic Achievement Award, our goal is to encourage these students and ensure they have the resources to pursue their athletic dreams.”
