BREAKING: Mc Kies Hill Resident Charged with Murder

The Royal St. Vincent and the Grenadines Police Force (RSVGPF) says it has made a significant breakthrough in an ongoing homicide investigation, demonstrating its dedication to justice and public safety.

In a press release, police said on February 24, 2025, they arrested and charged Lemar Isaacs, a 23-year-old labourer of Mc Kies Hill, with the offence of Murder. 

Isaacs is accused of causing the shooting death of 31-year-old Mark Williams, a Vendor of New Montrose, with malice aforethought at Block 2000 on September 09, 2023, police said.

 In our jurisprudence, a person charged with committing a crime is presumed to be innocent until proven guilty by a court of law.

Isaacs is expected to appear before the Serious Offences Court on February 24, 2025 for arraignment. He is not expected to enter a plea, police said.

The RSVGPF said it extends its gratitude to members of the publicwho have provided information to assist in this and other investigations.

The police encourage anyone with relevant details to come forward, as public cooperation remains vital in the fight against crime.
