Local graphic and digital designer and young entrepreneur Naveed Bentick has launched a campaign called Design Without Limits, aimed at making graphic and digital design services more affordable to small and medium-sized enterprises (SMSEs), mainly in St. Vincent and the Grenadines (SVG).

In a press release, the student said the campaign was launched on February 26th, virtually, on instagram.

Mr. Bentick, who has been a designer for over three years, said the campaign is a final-year requirement for a course at the Division of  Technical and Vocational Education of the St. Vincent and the Grenadines Community College in his digital media and marketing programme.

The campaign runs from February 28 to April 15. During this time, owners of small and medium-sized enterprises who need digital or graphic designs or who need branding services can contact Badwayz Designs, Mr. Bentick’s company, for assistance. The campaign focuses on enhancing clients’ branding and marketing efforts without the usual financial burden.

Three of his peers Ayinde Daniel, Jaden Billingy, and Omar Quow are assisting him with the execution of the campaign which is a requirement for the course Integrated Marketing Campaign. The students planned their campaign after conducted research and a situational analysis. They then identified the communication problems to be solved, set SMART objectives, determined their media and message design elements, selected the IMC tools to be used, campaign budget, and then determined how to evaluated the campaign.

Digital Media and Marketing students at the DTVE have done courses in content and copyright, multimedia and hypermedia design and development, and marketing, among others which consist of elements that are necessary in the designing or branding process.

Mr. Bentick’s campaign is one of four being executed by final-year digital marketing students as part of their coursework for Integrated Marketing Campaign.
