The Royal St. Vincent and the Grenadines Police Force (RSVGPF) said it is investigating the circumstances surrounding the death of Mr. Cuthbert Young, a 48-year-old security officer who resided in Roseau, Sion Hill.
In an April 17 press release, the RSVGPF said: Police received a report around 6:10 a.m. on Thursday, April 17, 2025, that a body had been discovered on the compound of a three-storey apartment building in the area.
The deceased was later confirmed to be Mr. Cuthbert Young. Mr. Young was the owner of the property. He resided on the first floor, rented out the ground floor, and the second floor was incomplete at the time of the incident. (Updated at 2:09 p.m. with information from the police).
A District Medical Officer visited the scene and officially pronounced him dead.
Preliminary information suggests that Mr. Young was known to suffer from seizures.

At this time, no foul play is suspected. A post-mortem examination will be conducted to determine the exact cause of death, police said.
