The Royal St. Vincent and the Grenadines Police Force (RSVGPF) said it is investigating a homicide that occurred in the community of Diamond on Thursday, April 17, 2025.
In an April 18 press release, the RSVGPF said: At approximately 5:10 p.m., (on April 17) “police received a report of a shooting incident along the Diamond Main Road. Upon arrival, officers discovered the lifeless body of a male individual who was later identified as Mr. Diazhaun Jack, a 20-year-old labourer of Diamond.”
“Preliminary investigations indicate that Mr. Jack sustained multiple gunshot wounds about his body. He was officially pronounced dead at the scene. Approval was subsequently granted for the removal of the body, which was transported to the Milton Cato Memorial Hospital mortuary. A post-mortem examination will be conducted to determine the exact cause of death,” police said in the release.

Police said personnel from the Crime Scene Unit processed the area and collected several exhibits believed to be of evidential value to the investigation.
The RSVGPF said it urges anyone with information that may assist in this matter to contact the Major Crime Unit at 1-784-457-1211 ext. 4837, or the nearest police station. All information received will be treated with the strictest confidence.
The RSVGPF also extended condolences to the family and friends of Mr. Diazhaun Jack during this difficult time.
