The southern Grenadine island of Canouan is preparing to host one of its largest annual festivals, known as One Fest. The inaugural event, One Fest Canouan, will take place from 30 May to 1 June 2025 at Soho House.
The organizers say the event, which attracts local, regional, and international visitors, is designed to celebrate local culture and community engagement through music, dance, and family-oriented activities, making One Fest Canouan a must-attend event on the island’s social calendar.
On Friday, 30 May, the opening night will feature a fashion show and an after-party with popular DJs. On Saturday, 31 May, activities will include a hike to Mount Royal, a scavenger hunt, and Mama’s Market with food vendors. There will also be performances by Danielle Vera, Darren Andrews, Silk Band, Rodney Small, and 2 Kool Chris.
The festival will conclude on Sunday, 1 June, with ‘Ragga on the Beach’, featuring performances from Hands, John Bomani, and others.
Persons from the mainland and elsewhere who are desirous of attending the festival are asked to secure tickets and accommodation early.
