Kingstown Co-operative Credit Union Ltd. (KCCU) regrets to confirm that an incident occurred at our headquarters, on July 9th, 2025, which resulted in the death of one person.
Operations at our Kingstown location were immediately halted, and the office closed for the remainder of the day.
We are profoundly saddened by the loss of life and extend our sincere condolences to the family and loved ones of the deceased.
Our thoughts are with everyone affected by this incident.
The safety, dignity, and well-being of our members, staff, and the wider community remain our priorities. We have engaged counselling and support services for our employees and other affected persons.
The Royal St. Vincent and the Grenadines Police Force is conducting investigations into the incident, and we await the outcome of these investigations.
