SVG’s Largest Event in Canada Set for July 19

The Vincy Unity Picnic, regarded as the largest event uniting the Vincentian Diaspora in Canada, is scheduled to take place on 19 July.

The organisers, Unity Picnic Committee (UPC), informed One News SVG on 11 July that the 2025 edition of the event will run from 7 a.m. to 6 p.m. at Crysler Park Beach in Morrisburg, Ontario.

“The 2025 Vincy Unity Picnic Canada continues its tradition of providing an exciting event that brings together Vincentian nationals, their friends, and individuals from Canada and the United States,” the organising committee stated.

The Committee added: “This family-oriented event offers a unique opportunity for patrons to enjoy the Vincy culture through food, traditional attire, music, games and performances.”

“Bomani, Fya Empress, Yellows, Black Ebou and other artistes will be on stage, the Kids Village is back bigger and better, and of course, the ever-popular Best Dressed (Vincy Colours) competition will be held again,” the Committee said.

“Patrons seeking peace and balance can also enjoy areas suitable for tranquillity and mindful escape,” the Committee further stated.
