The Ministry of Health, Wellness and the Environment, in partnership with iCARE Great Shape! Inc. and the Sandals Foundation, will be hosting two free eye care clinics for the benefit of Vincentian citizens.
The first clinic is scheduled to take place from Monday, 4 August to Thursday, 7 August at St Joseph’s Convent, Kingstown from 9:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m.
The second will be held at the Sandals Resorts Ballroom in Buccament on Friday, 8 August, from 9:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m.
Medical professionals from the United States and Canada, working in collaboration with the Ministry, will provide a range of complimentary services.
These include eye testing for vision, diseases and injuries; the provision of eye medication and referrals; prescription, reading and sunglasses; laser procedures for diabetic retinopathy; and general health screenings for diabetes and hypertension.
Members of the public are encouraged to take advantage of this valuable opportunity.
No referrals are needed to see the visiting team.
