Originally opened in January 2024, The Sand Bar temporarily closed in May but has since reopened as of November. It forms part of the Bequia Beach Hotel, a sister property to the well-known Jacks Bar, linking a network of popular destinations on the island.
Located on the stunning shores of Friendship Bay, The Sand Bar is an ideal venue for events, providing a relaxed atmosphere with breathtaking seaside views. While the bar closes on Tuesdays, it welcomes guests during the summer months from 11 am until 5 pm.
During the winter tourism season which begins in November, the beach bar will be open every day.
Admission to The Sand Bar is free, although visitors can opt for a convenient day pass that includes a sun bed, two refreshing rum punches, and a two-course lunch featuring a main course and dessert.
