In an unfortunate turn of events, the businesswoman who was shot multiple times about her body on Tuesday at Campden Park has died.
Dead is Renelle “Aida” Bowens who succumbed to her gunshot injuries on Wednesday morning (July 23) while at the Milton Cato Memorial Hospital.
Reports are that she was shot on Tuesday evening in the Coconut Range area of Campden Park by an unknown assailant. She was transported to Milton Cato Memorial Hospital, where she was in critical condition.
According to residents, approximately nine gunshots were heard.
A second shooting also took place on Tuesday.
In the second incident, a man was reportedly shot multiple times by an unknown assailant.
Reports indicate that, after being shot, the man collapsed to the ground but managed to sit up and lean against a wall.
He was transported to the Milton Cato Memorial Hospital where he is being treated for gunshot injuries.
His current status is unknown.
