One News SVG is a partner promoting the Emancipation Cricket Festival. The following is promotional content.
The Emancipation Cricket Festival presents, Dillon Douglas, local marquee player, Grenadines Whalers
A Vincentian and Windward Islands batting all-rounder, Dillon is a crowd favorite among VPL fans. That is no surprise for someone who is considered to be a terminator when armed with a blade of willow.
His VPL batting strike rate of 190 runs per 100 balls, is an advance message to opposing bowlers: “engage at your own risk!” Whether setting the pace as opening bat or accelerating the innings in the middle of the order or bowling leg spin, he always seeks to dominate and terminate the opposition.
He is the type of batting all-rounder all captains covet. Dillon Douglas is a weapon of mass destruction about to be unleashed at the Emancipation Cricket Festival.
