England’s Cameron Delport to play at SVG’s Emancipation Cricket Festival

The Emancipation Cricket Festival presents, Cameron Delport, international marquee player, Windward Warriors.

A belligerent top order left-handed batsman from South Africa, Delport has been a machine gun for hire to T20 franchises across the world. Fans on the English county circuit will remember his T20 career best of 109 runs from 59 balls for Leicestershire in 2017. In his native South Africa, Delport shares a batting record with Vorne Van Hyk, a first wicket partnership of 367 in a One Day game.

In the 2019 Pakistan Super League, playing for Islamabad United, Delport struck the competition’s fastest century. His exceptional 2019 scintillating form continued when he joined Essex in England and scored the club’s fastest T20 century in his debut season. That breath-taking century came from just 38 balls. Delporthas played in all most all of the world’s T20 leagues with elite clubs including Kolkota Knight Riders in IPL and Sydney Thunder in Big Bash Australia.

July 31-August 3, Arnos Vale Stadium, St. Vincent and the Grenadines.

The matches

The matches will begin on Thursday, July 31st, 2025 when Leeward Lions will face Kingstown Kings at 7:00 p.m.

Then, on Friday, August 1, Emancipation Day, Stubbs Masters will face SVG Hairouners at 3:30 p.m., and Grenadines Whalers will face Windward Warriors at 7:00 p.m.

On Saturday, August 2, there will be the third-place play-offs at 7:00 p.m., then on Sunday, August 3rd, Northern Girls will face Southern Girls at 3:30 p.m.

Then the finals which will be between Game 1 and Game 2 winners will take place at 7:00 p.m.

All matches will be held at the Arnos Vale Stadium.
