Windward will face Grenadines today (August 1) at Arnos Vale

After Kingstown Kings defeated Leeward Lions in the opening match of the Emancipation Cricket Festival on July 31, the Grenadines will face the Windward this evening.

Today, August 1, Emancipation Day, Grenadines Whalers will face Windward Warriors at 7:00 p.m., but first, Stubbs Masters will face SVG Hairouners at 3:30 p.m. Both matches will take place at the Arnos Vale Stadium. 

About last night’s match

The Leeward Lions batted first and scored 119 for 9 off their 20 overs. In reply, the Kingstown Kings made 120 for 3 wickets off 14.3 overs to win the match. 

The victory means that Kingstown Kings are now in the finals of the 4-day competition.

Future matches 

On Saturday, August 2, there will be the third-place play-offs at 7:00 p.m., then on Sunday, August 3rd, Northern Girls will face Southern Girls at 3:30 p.m.

Then the finals which will be between Kingstown Kings and the winners of Game 2, will take place at 7:00 p.m.

All matches will be held at the Arnos Vale Stadium.
