Members of the legendary West Indies World Cup-winning team of 1975, including Sir Clive Lloyd and Sir Gordon Greenidge, met today (2 August) with young and aspiring cricketers in St Vincent and the Grenadines.

During a session at Arnos Vale Stadium, the legends engaged with the youngsters, offered words of encouragement, and shared their cricketing wisdom.

Among the participants were cricketers from SVG Kiddies, and the national under-15 and under-19 squads.

The legends are visiting as part of the state-led Emancipation Cricket Festival, which runs from 31 July to 3 August 2025.

This evening at 7:00 p.m., the third-place play-off between the Leeward Lions and Windward Warriors will take place.

The finals are set for tomorrow, Sunday 3 August, featuring the Grenadines Whalers versus the Kingstown Kings.
