The St. Vincent Planned Parenthood Association (SVPPA) mobile medical clinic, officially launched on Wednesday, July 24 2025, will begin active operations tomorrow, August 6, 2025.
The mobile clinic will be outside the Ministerial Building from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m., offering free blood pressure testing. Other general and reproductive health services, such as family planning, STI testing, counselling, and community health education, will also be available at the standard service rates.
Following this, the clinic will operate in Georgetown on August 11 and 15, and in Barrouallie on August 13.
Designed to reach individuals in remote or underserved areas, the Mobile Medical Clinic is a game-changer in SVPPA’s mission to ensure that healthcare is a right, not a privilege.
The SVPPA is encouraging the public to look out for the mobile unit in their communities and to take advantage of the services being offered.
