At least two shot, one dead following shooting at Paul’s Avenue area

At least two people have been shot, with one confirmed dead, following a shooting incident on Paul’s Avenue.

The incident is reported to have occurred between 15 and 16 August.

The deceased has been identified as Gasroy Fergusson, known professionally as Deejay Swagga who worked at Boom FM located at Paul’s Avenue, Kingstown.

According to reports, gunmen entered the area and opened fire, injuring one individual and killing the deejay near his workplace (Boom FM).

The other individual, whose identity has not been revealed, is nursing gunshot wounds at the Milton Cato Memorial Hospital (MCMH).

Police are currently investigating the incident.
