Faces of Cancer SVG, a cancer support group, is encouraging those diagnosed to seek support and know they are not alone.
In a recent press release, the support group stated: “A cancer diagnosis can feel overwhelming, isolating, and frightening. Faces of Cancer SVG was created to remind every person battling cancer and their families that they are not alone.”
They further added: “Faces of Cancer SVG provides a safe, supportive community for individuals affected by cancer. Through our private support groups, we offer a confidential space where people can share their experiences, find encouragement, and connect with others who truly understand what they are going through.”
The group also highlighted the increase in cancer rates, particularly among younger adults: “There has been a rise in cancer diagnoses, particularly among younger adults. While overall cancer rates are influenced by an ageing population, there is also a concerning increase in early-onset cancers among those under 50. Thanks to advancements in treatment and therapies, many people are now living for years beyond their initial diagnosis.”

They also acknowledged the emotional challenges that can accompany a diagnosis, saying: “The stigma of shame, fear, and isolation, however, still lingers for many who have been diagnosed.”
Rachel Crandon, Co-Founder of Faces of Cancer SVG, who was also diagnosed with cancer, shared that she knows firsthand the emotional toll it can take but encourages people to reach out and that there is hope: “Don’t be afraid to reach out to a fellow survivor; we have many here,” said Crandon. “Yes, a lot of people have died from the disease, but there are also many people living long, full lives after their diagnosis.”
Faces of Cancer SVG is encouraging anyone diagnosed with cancer to join the group’s private support networks. “Members will find not just listening ears, but also hearts that care, voices that uplift, and stories that inspire resilience.”
