Ms. Tansy Daniel, 25, has been selected as a finalist to proudly represent St Vincent and the Grenadines (SVG) at the prestigious Miss Caribbean UK 2025 pageant, which will take place on 1 November at the Shaw Theatre in London, England.

Founded in 2014 by Jacqui and Clayton Brown, Miss Caribbean UK (MCUK) provides a platform for young women across the UK to embrace their culture, gain confidence, and become role models within their communities.

Ms Daniel told One News SVG on Thursday that she will use her platform to advocate for cancer awareness, with a special focus on breast cancer. She added that she will also be fundraising for the St Vincent and the Grenadines Medical Association, an organisation dedicated to supporting Vincentian women diagnosed with breast cancer.

“I am truly grateful for the opportunity to represent SVG on a national stage and to champion this important cause. This experience has been incredibly rewarding so far and I am excited for the journey ahead. I extend all my best wishes to the other contestants,” said Ms Daniel.

Ms Daniel is one of eleven contestants competing for the coveted title of Miss Caribbean UK 2025.

About Tansy Daniel

Although not born in St Vincent and the Grenadines, Tansy Daniel’s Vincentian roots lie in Villa, St Vincent, where her family originates.

She told One News SVG: “I was born in London in the UK, but my mum is Vincentian so I have decided to represent my Vincentian side in the pageant. I did not attend any schools in St Vincent as I did not grow up there.”

Ms Daniel works in breast cancer clinical research as a Clinical Trial Administrator.

Regarding her heritage, St Vincent and the Grenadines, she said: “I love the warmth and hospitality of the people and the beautiful beaches. No matter where you go, everyone is always welcoming and friendly. Last but not least, I enjoy spending treasured time with my family.”

Ms Daniel also spent several years in St Kitts as a child, further cementing her Caribbean roots and identity.
